Snowman Gift Card Holder

McGill Paper Punches:
     -92097L Snowman Dimensional Punch 

Additional Supplies:
     -Holiday Papers
     -White card stock 
     -Black card stock
     -Orange card stock
     -Kraft card stock
     -White Uni-ball Gel Pen (for eyes) 
     -Coordinating blue patterned paper
     -Papertrey Ink Seed Packet Die (Gift Card Holder)
     -Glue Pen
     -Beacon's 3 -1 Adhesive
     -Pop Dots
     -Glitter 

Project Instructions:

  1. Die cut and assemble Gift Card Holder
  2. Punch Snowman in white, blue, orange, kraft and black cardstock and assemble Snowman and embellish.
  3. Free hand the snow drifts.
  4. Add glue with glue pen to the edges of the snowman and snow drifts and add glitter.
  5. Attach the snow drifts and the Snowman to the front of the Gift Card Holder.  Pop Dots can be used to adhere to the Snowman.

Glove/Mitten Ornaments featuring the Pine Cone.

Creating the Pinecone:

Project Instructions:
  • Take a pair of knitted gloves or mittens and sew them together. Attach a twine loop onto the back of the gloves, so that they can be hung on a Christmas Tree.
  • Create Pine Cone as instructed above.
  • Embellish gloves with a bow, McGill Pine Cone, Pine branches and the Dimensional Tree Branch.

Vintage Santa Card featuring the Poinsettia

McGill Paper Punches:

Additional Supplies:
     -Authentique Patterned Paper
     -Kraft Cardstock
     -Vintage Santa Image
     -Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Walnut Stain) 
     -Queen and Company Pearls
     -Sparkly yarn
     -Papertrey Ink Edgers Die
     -Beacons Fabric Tac Adhesive

Creating the Poinsettia:

Project Instructions:
  • Trim Kraft Cardstock to 8.5"x5.5" fold in half to create your card base. 
  • Trim Pattern Paper to 4"x5.25" Ink edges and adhere to center of card. 
  • Trim Kraft Cardstock to 4"x3" Ink edges.
  • Print or Stamp an Image that is approx 3.5"x2.5". Adhere or Stamp to the center of Kraft Cardstock. Wrap the bottom with Sparkly yarn and adhere to center of card. 
  • Create Poinsettia with How to instructions above and adhere to card.
  • Embellish the Poinsettia with 3 pearls or gems.

Believe Stocking Card

McGill Paper Punches:
     -64511 Paper Blossoms Star Lily Punch
     -64535 Paper Blossoms Crystal Punch

     -403CR 1/4" Round Gem Punch
     -65900 Molding Mat
     -65800 Tool Kit

Additional Supplies:
     -My Minds Eye Lost and Found Christmas 6x6 pad
     -Bazzill Cardstock
     -Kraft Cardstock
     -KinderStampO Vintage letter Charm
     -KinderStampO Vintage and Traditional Holiday Stamp set
     -Seam Binding "champagne" color
     -White Gel Pen
     -Christmas Stocking Template
     -Beacon Fabri-tac Adhesive

Creating the Poinsettia:

Project Instructions:
  • Print 2 copies of the stocking template cut one out in 1 piece and the other in 4 pieces.
  • Fold a piece of 12x12 Kraft Cardstock in half .
  • Trace full piece of stocking template onto Cardstock and cut out leaving the fold intact which creates your card base.
  • Trace stocking pieces onto desired cardstock. Trim out and adhere to front of stocking card base.
  • Create Poinsettia using the directions above.
  • Punch out 2 Pine branches and adhere to bottom of Poinsettia. Adhere to card. 
  • Add "Believe" to charm and tie some Seam Binding to the top. Adhere to card. 
  • Stamp out a Sentiment and Adhere to the inside of the card as shown below. 
  • Finish embellishing card with white Gel Pen.

Season's Greetings Frame

     -Creative Imaginations Photo Frame
     -Bazzill Cardstock
     -The Paper Studio Pattern Paper
     -Perfect Pearls
     -Queen and Company Pearls
     -Sticker Queen Foil Sticker
     -Satin Ribbon
     -Beacon Fabri-tac Adhesive

Creating the Poinsettia:

Project Instructions:
  • Cover frame with Pattern Paper and cut out the photo part with an xacto knife.
  • Tie a bow around the frame with ribbon.
  • Create the Poinsettia using instructions above.
  • Add some Perfect Pearls to the Poinsettia and adhere to frame.
  • Embellish the Poinsettia with 3-5 Pearls
  • Add "Season's Greetings" to a piece of scrap paper and adhere to frame.
  • Finish your frame by adding your favorite Holiday photo.
These frames all dressed up make great simple and quick gifts that anyone is sure to love.

Holiday Box featuring the Buttercup flower

McGill Paper Punches:
     -65800 Tool Kit
  
Additional Supplies:
     -Bazzill Cardstock
     -Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Fired Brick, Crushed Olive and Walnut Stain)
     -Box (Joann's)
     -Tsukineko Fantastic Coloring Tool (bullet and brush tips)
     -Beacon 3 in 1 Adhesive

Creating the Buttercup:

Project Instructions:
  • Ink the entire box with Walnut Stain Distress inks
  • Using the Fantastick Coloring Tool Brush tip color the swirls with Crushed Olive Distress Inks.
  • Using the Fantastick Coloring Tool Bullet tip Color in the dots with Fired Brick Distress Inks.
  • Punch 2-3 Pine Branches and adhere to box.
  • Create 2 Buttercup flowers using instructions above and adhere to box.
  • Add a tag if ya like or embellish further with gems, pearls etc.

Angel Place Card

McGill Paper Punches:
  
Additional Supplies:
     -Bo Bunny Blitzen 6x6 Paper Pack
     -Bazzill Cardstock
     -Gold Paint Marker
     -Glossy Accents
     -Recollection Rhinestones
     -Beacon 3 in 1 Adhesive

Instructions for Angel:
  • Using coordinating paper, punch out the Angel layers 3 times
  • Adhere each of the layers on top of one another.
  • Apply Gold Paint Pen to the wings and stars and adhere to Angel once dry.

Creating the Place Card:
  • Trim cardstock to 3"x4 1/2". Score at 2 1/2" and fold in half.
  • Round corners with corner rounder.
  • Trim pattern paper to 2 7/8"x2 1/2". Round corners with corner rounder and adhere to the center of card.
  • Using coordinating cardstock, punch the Vintage Label twice. Swap pieces and adhere centers.  Apply name to one and adhere to card. 
  • Adhere the Angel you created from instructions above to the card. 
  • Finish place card by embellishing with rhinestones.

Happy Holidays Notebook

Additional Supplies:
     -Kraft, Green and White Cardstock
     -K and Co Pattern Paper
     -DCWV Glitter Paper (for flower)
     -KinderStampO Vintage & Traditional Holiday Stamp Set
     -Ranger Stickles (Christmas Red)
     -White Gelly-Roll Pen
     -Beacon Fabri-tac Adhesive

Creating the Poinsettia:

Project Instructions:
  • Trim Craft Cardstock to 4 1/2"x8". Score at 6" and fold. Round bottom edges with corner rounder. 
  • Adhere scalloped strip to top fold. 
  • Trim green cardstock to 4 1/2 x 1" adhere to center of top fold. 
  • Trim Pattern Paper to 4 1/2" x 3/4"  adhere to center of green strip on top fold. 
  • Trim several sheets of white cardstock to 4"x 5.5". Round bottom edges with corner rounder. Center under top fold and staple.
  • Create your poinsettia from directions above adhere it to the top right of notepad. 
  • Stamp sentiment on white scrap piece adhere to top fold.
  • Apply 3 dots with Ranger Stickles to sentiment piece. 
  • Punch out 3 Gem dots from Glitter Paper and adhere to center of poinsettia
  • Finish embellishing the top fold with dashes using Gelly-roll pen.

November Flower of the Month

This month we are all about the Poinsettia.

To get you started on creating a dimensional Poinsettia, Elisa Kammerdiener has created this gorgeous Gift Box featuring the Poinsettia and of course we have the complete supply list and step by step instructions on how you can create the Poinsettia.


McGill Paper Punches:
     -64511 Paper Blossoms Star Lily Punch
     -64535 Paper Blossoms Crystal Punch
     - 92086L Designer Pine Punch
     -65800R Tool Kit
     -65900R Molding Mat


Additional Supplies:
     -Core'dinations Glittered Cardstock
     -Core'dinations Green Cardstock
     -Queen and Company Gold Pearls
     -Doodlebug Twine
     -Kraft Box
     -Beacon Fabri-tac Adhesive

Creating the Poinsettia:

Simple Instructions:
  • Once you have created your poinsettia from directions above adhere it to the box. 
  • Punch out 6 pine branches and adhere them around your poinsettia.
  • Place 3-5 gold pearls to the inside of your poinsettia
  • Add a gift to your box and tie it up with a piece of doodlebug twine.
